Your Lens for seeing life | Titus O’Bryant
Like the lens of our eyes (or eyeglasses), we all carry around internal thoughts, feelings, and ideas composing core beliefs that filter our everyday experiences and help us make sense of life. As the Apostle Paul writes a “thank-you” note to the church at Philippi that overflows with joy, he begins by giving us insight to his core principles that help him understand life. What type of lens do you use to interpret life? Let’s take our first step to finding joy together by looking at life through the lens of Philippians 1:1-14.

CONNECT AND GROW THIS FALL!
Stop by and meet our group and ministry leaders!
Here at LifePoint, we desire to see everyone connected – connected in relationship to God and in relationship with other people. We have lots of opportunities to get connected this fall – come check them out! Over the next few weeks, our group and ministry leaders invite you to stop by their Living Room in the lobby and learn how you can connect and grow.
FALL BIBLE STUDY - EXODUS
Join us this autumn as our men & women dive into the book of Exodus! Study will meet for nine weeks on Tuesday evenings beginning September 20, 6:45-8:30 pm, with large group teaching and small group discussion. Free childcare also offered with advance registration.
STUDENT FALL RETREAT!
All students in grades 7-12 are invited to our Fall Retreat at Refreshing Mountain Retreat and Adventure Center, October 21-23! This retreat is specifically designed for middle and high school students and will be full of fun activities, powerful worship and Biblical teaching. Don’t miss it!
STORIES OF INFLUENCE
As we recognize LifePoint’s 35th anniversary, we are celebrating the ripple effect of more than three decades of influence in and through the people of LifePoint. Throughout the fall, we’ll be highlighting some of these stories. This week, we hear from Dave & Dawn Swann about the impact of making faith a family affair.
On Friday, October 14, join us for Made Known – a pregnancy and infant loss memorial event created to acknowledge the babies in our church and in our community who were MADE by God, KNOWN by their parents and will be MADE KNOWN through honoring their short, but significant lives.
We know that many of you who wish to volunteer aren’t able to serve on Sunday mornings. Here’s your chance! We are looking for volunteers to provide childcare during our men’s & women’s Bible studies this fall and give moms and dads time to study God’s Word and to grow and connect in community.
IT'S MUDBOWL TIME!
Get ready to GET TOGETHER with student ministries throughout the community! LifePoint Students will be competing in a Mudbowl Tournament on September 25 at Uniontown Bible Church! Mudbowl is exactly what it sounds like, FOOTBALL IN THE MUD, and it’s going to be a blast!
We’d love to get to know you better and help you get connected! If you visit on the weekend, fill out a Connection Card and bring it to the Welcome Desk. We’ll have a gift waiting for you! Or, you can simply connect with us online. Click the button or text LPCONNECT to 97000.
